What to expect at the first visit
Your first appointment will last approximately 1½ hours. This allows Dr. Stage to understand your health conditions, stressors, and you as a person in order to better evaluate your health and provide appropriate treatment.
We will review your medical intake form, and recent labs or imaging are helpful in this process, so if you have these records available to you, please bring them with you. We can also fax out records requests if you do not have copies.
It is also helpful for you to bring along any medications or supplements that you are currently taking.
Physical exam and additional labs or imaging as necessary may also be done on the first visit.
Well child exams are 45 minutes to 1 hour and include an age-appropriate screening physical exam.
Well women exams generally last about 1 hour and include physical exam of the heart, lungs, thyroid, abdomen, and a pelvic exam and pap.
